Each year a large number of visitors come through St Michael's during the week. They visit the church for various reasons, often as part of their travels, maybe to marvel at the unique architecture of this magnificent building or perhaps to find sanctuary in the middle of a busy day. There is much to see at St Michael's. The beautiful windows, some of the best in the city, contrast the traditional stained glass windows (which frame the upstairs gallery) with the
exceptional bicentennial windows downstairs. Combined with the remarkable Romanesque style and elegant circular seating, St Michael's is unlike any church in Melbourne.
To share our treasure to the world, St Michael's is open during the weekdays, where anyone can visit, whether to learn something of St Michael's history and features with our knowledgeable volunteer tour guides or to experience a moment of quiet from the busy city.
Tours operate at St Michael's Monday to Friday, 10.30am to 1.30pm (Bookings not required).

Sunday Parking
Discount Parking
St Michael's attendees can park at the Interpark car park on Little Collins Street for a special rate of $5.00 on Sundays only. The cashier booth is manned from 10 am Sundays, so customers can only leave after 10 am.
Instructions: Enter from Little Collins Street, if the car park gate is closed, there is a button to speak to security who will let you in. Drive through to the boom gate, take a ticket, and park. Please do not park in the ‘reserved' spots. Present your ticket to the Enquiries Table after service to be stamped. On leaving car park, present the voucher to the car park cashier with your ticket and you will be given a special rate of $5.00.
Some spaces are available on Sunday mornings at Scots' Church, 181 Little Collins Street. Obtain a voucher from the Information Table in the Hall and pay a reduced rate of $5.00. Also, Sunday discounted parking $10.00 a day is available at the City Square Car Park. Entry is from Flinders Lane between Russell and Swanston Street. Bring your ticket to be stamped at the Information Table after service and the cashier at the car park exit.
