4:08pmYour article about the so called "New Faith" is rediculious and contradicting to any common sense - why dont you go and study "history" and know your facts first before misleading others - if there is no God as you mention, and you dont believe in Christ - then DO NOT CALL YOURSELF A CHRISTIAN - CALL YOURSELF whatever - becuase your view is just another "whatever waste of time" - make your own 10 commandemnts - so you can "Steal & Kill" as you please.. -

2:49pmDear Dr McNab,
with respect I write to ask what has happened to your thinking? Is it that you have met and dealt with so many people who have had so many problems that you yourself have become disillusioned with the Salvation you once thought you had (I assume you would say that you once had it).
I feel so sorry for you that you are thinking this way at this present time - please reconsider your thoughts and actions based on fact and not on your emotions which I guess must be in turmoil right now.
I look forward to hearing that you have thought and prayed about your decisions and changed to thinking Biblically so that you will not be held responsible deceiving either yourself or others.
A Christian friend

2:21pmAs General Secretary of The Congregational Federation of Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand it was with a mixture of sorrow and dis-belief that I\\r\\nlearned that the Church which was once the cathedral Church of Congregationalism in Victoria and had as two of its Ministers, amongst others, the Rev. Dr Leslie Weatherhead and the Rev. Gordon Powell is now home to one who is not only a doubter but one who has lost both his way and the plot. So much for psychotherapy!\\r\\n\\r\\nDr Macnab appears to owe more to Tom Cruise than to the \\\"Jewish peasant\\\" Jesus Christ!\\r\\n\\r\\nThen there is the matter of the $120,000 campaign to sell Macnabism. What good this might have done for the poor and needy.\\r\\n\\r\\nJesus wept. Father forgive them for they know not what they do.\\r\\n\\r\\nKeith Lyons -

1:16pmI read the article in today's age with alarm and sadness. If Dr McNab wishes to start a new religion/cult, as appears from the article, by all means. But do not do so from the pulpit of a Christian Church. I note, too, that your website includes the word "Christian" in reference to St Michael's.
The philosophy articulated in the Age was not only not Christian, it is anti-Christian. I was dismayed by the expensive advertising directed against the Ten Commandments, the staple of the Jewish and Christian faiths. This is not advertising Dr McNab's own beliefs, it is militating against those of other faiths.
I hope the Uniting Church will intervene here. It is not a question of liberalism or progressive Christian beliefs. It has gone far beyond that. -

12:26pmI read the article in the Age today about "the throwing out of the Ten Commandments" and as a Christian am fearing I'm watching something devised by the New World Order's agenda of destroying Christianity.
Perhaps replacing the name "church" with "cult" would be appropriate at this stage. What an irony also,UNITING Church, bizarre. -

10:33amNew religion created!
Incredible! I thought it had to be in the USA, but we have local lunacy as well.
Assuming the Age article is accurate (and there's nothing here to refute it), then Dr Mcnab claims "in fact, there is no God, in the usual sense".
"We want to make the new faith more believable".
What sort of faith are you speaking of when you want to write your own "believable: version.
What is the “mainstream” church coming to? -

9:58amDear Francis McNab,
I read with pleasure in The Age some of your views. They have much in common with my Quakerism. It would be great to actually meet you and have a conversation. It would be on a private basis.
Your Friend sincerely,
