Contact and Care Team
St Michael's Contact and Care Team has members living in different parts of Melbourne and beyond.
If someone is ill at home or in hospital, going into hospital or has some other special need and would like to have some support from the Contact and Care Team, please contact the Church Office on 9654 5120 and the information will be passed on to the appropriate member of the team, who will then get in touch.
If you are ringing on behalf of another person, for privacy reasons, please ask permission from the person to do so.
If someone is going through a period of breavement and would like some support, please contact the Church Office and the request will be forwarded on to the appropriate person.
Prayer Tree
If you are experiencing difficult times, you may wish to have the members of the Prayer Tree keeping you, your family member or friend in their special thoughts.
If you wish to have someone other than yourself remembered by the members of the Prayer Tree, please ask that person’s permission before you make the request. You can make the request by phoning the Church Office or by phoning the Leader of the Prayer Tree, Val Kelly, on 9390 1831.
Regional Contact
The metropolitan area of Melbourne and areas beyond have been divided into four Regional areas to facilitate contact with people who attend St Michael's.
The Regions and Regional Leaders are:
North West - Susan Robinson
South - Lyndell O'Brien
North East - Anita Sawatzky
East - Wendy Salisbury
Each year a Morning Tea is held for the members of the Regions.
Regional Leaders are available to put people who attend St Michael's in touch with others in their area, and to assist people in their involvement.
