"Eugene Von Guérard: Nature revealed"
This collection shows a new aspect of one of Australia's most important artists. The journey of Eugene Von Guérard, in the southern Hemisphere, takes us deep into Victoria's Alpine Region. From the rain forests of Illawarra, through the Victorian alps to the rugged coast of cape Otway.
We will meet in the forecourt of the Art Centre at 10:15 and together go to the auditorium for an introductory talk, before viewing the exhibition. This will be followed by a light lunch in the upstairs tea room.
Date: Thursday 19th May
Time: 10:15 in the forecourt of Federation Square
Cost: $38 for adults and $36 for pensioners.
The money raised for this outing will go towards the indigenous medicine academic resource award.
