Celebrating Interfaith With InterAction

Members of InterAction, a youth-based interfaith group, will join St Michael’s for a panel discussion following Sunday service on August 21st.

InterAction is a network of inspired young people from diverse cultural, spiritual & religious backgrounds working side by side to build a better world. An entirely youth-run organisation, InterAct draw on their personal inspirations while coming together with others on projects of common action for the common good. They believe that acting collaboratively on shared values is the best way to harness the strength of our diverse society, for the benefit of all.  Their aim is to replace cultures of conflict and competition with ones of co-operation and peace.

Join us for a panel discussion with Nivy Balachandran a Hindu, Ali Majokah, who is a young Muslim man and Chrstina Ghobadhi, a young Catholic woman as well as other members of InterAction with diverse religious backgrounds.

The following is the theme of the panel discussion after Church:
- The role of faith in social change
- The relevance of spirituality and religion to young folks today
- The future! Is it as bleak and horrible as it sometimes seems?
