WEEKDAY TOUR GUIDES NEEDED
There are many visitors from all around the world to our church every weekday. They are welcomed and guided by our volunteer tour guides. Visitors invariably say how marvellous our church is.
It is a sad fact that we don’t have enough tour guides to cover every day and there a number of days where there are no tours at all. This means that about 1000 visitors a year will not experience our church because it is closed.
Tour guiding is a fun job, and not at all difficult.
Therefore, anyone who has thought about becoming a volunteer guide, please come and meet our wonderful people who make Week Day Tours possible.
Enjoy morning tea and have a chat about how much difference you could make to the program.
When: Sunday 18th September, after Sunday Service.
Where: Waratah Room Level 1, St Michael’s Place.
You can also leave your name and Phone number with the office and we will contact you regarding your wishes.
Each year, St Michael’s Uniting Church presents two individuals with ‘The St Michael’s Medallions’ in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the community.
The award is designed to recognize individuals whose work assists in the prevention of violence, trauma and destructiveness or alternatively, promotes growth, health and well-being.
The Medallions are designed to be an encouraging voice in the community, affirming individuals whose outstanding work might remain unrecognized.
